Rates, Rules and Regulations

KCP&L's pricing and practices are regulated by the Kansas Corporation Commission and the Missouri Public Service Commission. These state agencies oversee our operations and Rules and Regulations. Tariffs are a schedule of rates or charges, that are also approved by state regulators. Tariffs are set to recover essential costs related to providing safe, reliable and affordable service.
