Contractor Safety Requirements

WorkersAll work is to be performed in accordance with the approved KCP&L Contractor Safety Requirements applicable to all contractors and their subcontractors entering KCP&L property for the purpose of delivering goods and services.

Registration instructions:

Email Contractor Safety with the following:

  • Company name
  • Contact name (preferably Safety Manager or Director)
  • Contact phone number and email
  • Detailed scope of work
  • Copy of your company's Health and Safety Program (HASP)
  • Copy of the completed Pre-Qualification form
  • The completed and signed Acknowledgement of Receipt

The Contractor Safety Administrator will notify you via email with the details of the Contractor Safety Requirements program (CSR) which will include your company's designated level and any additional documentation requirements. (Level descriptions and definitions can be found in the Contractor Safety Requirements document - Section 1.0 Introduction.)
