We Invest in the Kansas City Area

As an urban utility, 95 percent of Kansas City Power & Light's sales and income come from Kansas City-area residents and businesses. We believe in the importance of community investment and annually supporting Kansas City programs.

Our goal is to improve communities' economic and social well-being. We do this through well-thought financial support and community partnerships, focusing in the areas of at-risk youth, environment, economic and civic efforts.
