Our Corporate Culture
Culture is defined as the way things are done in an organization, the personality of an organization and the attitudes and beliefs people hold that shape decisions in an organization. At Kansas City Power & Light, we have embraced a Winning Culture. We believe that there are five elements, known as the GPE IDEAL, that make up our Winning Culture.
Our Winning Culture Council is responsible for engaging employees through the GPE IDEAL and ensuring that our culture continues to move forward. This council is comprised of individuals from all levels in the organization. The high emphasis on culture allows our employees to voice their opinions and concerns in the decision-making process. This is why we have organized IDEAL Partnership teams at each KCP&L location. |
