KCP&L has convenient walk-in pay locations throughout our service area. To find the location near you, view this list of Authorized Pay Locations or call KCP&L at (816) 471-5275, toll-free at 1-888-471-5275.

What is the difference between an authorized and unauthorized pay location?   There may be businesses in your area that offer to accept KCP&L payments but are doing so without authorization from KCP&L. If payments are made at these unauthorized locations KCP&L cannot guarantee your payment and cannot validate your receipt number. Help protect the security of your payment by using one of our Authorized Pay Locations.

When paying on or near your due date, avoid late payment charges or service disconnection by calling KCP&L to report your payment. Our phone system is automated so you won’t have to wait for a representative. Simply enter your phone number, KCP&L account number and receipt number from any KCP&L Authorized Pay Location as prompted by the phone system. Our system will update your account automatically.

Bring your monthly bill - it’s required at most locations. NOTE:  Some Authorized Pay Locations in Missouri add a modest fee for processing your payment, but never more than $1. Allow at least three days for payment to be applied to your account.
