Simplify, streamline and de-stress. KCP&L offers customers the option of paying by either check or credit card. Dial (816) 471-5275, toll-free (888) 471-5275 and follow the directions below:

PAYING WITH A CHECK

Start paying your electric bill by electronic check by selecting option 1. Please have your KCP&L account number and check book, then follow the simple voice prompts.

PAYING WITH A CREDIT CARD
KCP&L accepts Visa or MasterCard debit, credit or ATM payments over the phone.

Choose "Make a Payment" from the Auto Services option, then select option 3 (Pay with Credit Card). Please have your KCP&L account number on hand to verify your number, then follow the simple voice prompts. You will be connected to Western Union for processing.
