- Mulch is not always available. We cannot guarantee time of delivery.
- From about April
through October, the mulch is full of green leaves and is in a compost
stage.
- Green mulch takes
4-6 weeks to deteriorate. Because it is in a compost stage, mulch in
the green stage may severely damage garden plants and shrubs.
- During the warm
season, green mulch may attract stinging insects, i.e., yellow jackets,
wasps, etc.
- During the deterioration
process, the mulch will have a strong odor like that of rotting grass
and leaves.
- The mulch will
kill grass under it, and it will stain a driveway.
- The mulch will
probably contain stringy material, small sticks, yard rakings, etc.
- Do not burn wood
mulch in any wood burning stove, fireplace, furnace, etc.
- Average size load
contains approximately 12 cubic yards which is about 3.5 feet high x
8 feet x 12 feet long.
- Once the load is
delivered and unloaded, it becomes your property and we will not pick
it up.
