PowerWatch uses Microsoft's Virtual Earth maps to display either satellite images, or graphic road maps of the KCP&L service territory. Outage areas are color-coded on the map based on the number of customers out. This allows customers to pinpoint outages and restoration progress in their specific neighborhoods.
Select your preferred city or county from the drop down menus to display the map for your area.

Menu options are provided to give you direct access to the following features:
- Restoration Information - up-to-date outage stats for specific areas selected by the user (close by clicking on the red "x")
- Report an Outage - takes you to the online system for reporting your outage
- Find an Address - entering a street address places you in the specified area on a Virtual Earth map
- Refresh Map - returns you to full KCP&L's service territory map
The colored legend indicates the number of customers without power by the shaded areas on the map.
The "Help" link, located under the legend, takes you to the KCP&L Storm Center site which includes information on how the outage restoration process works, tips for staying safe during an outage, progress updates during an outage, and more.
