Detailed Tariffs

KCP&L Detailed Tariffs for Missouri and Kansas Residential and Business.

A tariff is the charge for providing energy and can include both fixed and variable charges.

  • Fixed charge isn't based on how much energy you use. Instead, it's identified on your bill as the "customer charge," which is determined by state regulatory commissions.
  • Variable charge is referred to as the "energy charge" on your bill. It's the amount you pay for each unit of electricity you use per kilowatt hour (kWh).
